I don't have a source but I believe it's a film set from season 2 of the TV show La Brea.
Yangs skills work without selecting it.

Was messing around and chose not to select Yangs skill in a match. I noticed the yingyang symbol was still there so tried it out. Sure enough I was healing for 10k on crit healing and when I swapped it it went to 14k. I assume the crit damage increase still works but my screen was so overloaded I couldn’t see the little emblems. I’ll go back and make a video. TLDR: hit that button even if you didn’t select the skill

Definitely re-roll the base damage on the bow. The gain from 2 more discipline is not greater than the increase you'll get from re-rolling the damage.
Yangs reason for stealing the talismans.

I have not seen any website or thread where the explain Yangs history. What made me curious about this was the two gravestones you see in both endings of sifu. One is big and one is small. I’m pretty sure Yang lost his wife and child and stole the talismans the truth and bring them back, but failed. This is why his Sifu has kicked him out. To support this we also see the statue of a mother holding a child in the sanctuary, followed by a man who talks to you about loss and restoration. So I’m very sure Yang went against his master to save his family as he talks about when he kills and brings back to life the bird.
